Workflow

In order to manage storage for your appliance, you must do one of the following:

• Use the Storage Setup Wizard to set up storage in a few easy steps.

  See Setting Up Storage Using the Storage Setup Wizard.

• Manually set up storage, by doing the following:
  1. Add one or more arrays.

     See Adding and Editing Arrays.

  2. Create one or more volumes on each array.

     See Adding and Editing Logical Volumes.

  3. If you created a SAN volume, you must add it as an iSCSI target, in order to access it.

     See Adding and Editing iSCSI Targets.
