Disabling and Enabling Agent Backups

You can disable local backup for a CTERA Agent, including:

When an agent is disabled, it remains connected and can still be managed centrally; however, no backups are performed.

To disable local backup for an agent

  1. In the Configuration tab's navigation pane, click Local Backup > CTERA Agents.

    The Local Backup > CTERA Agents page appears.

  2. Select the desired CTERA Agent.
  3. Click Disable.

    If local backup is currently running, it is paused. All future automatic backups for the CTERA Agent are suspended.

    The CTERA Agent's status changes to Disabled.

To enable local backup for an agent

  1. In the Configuration tab's navigation pane, click Local Backup > CTERA Agents.

    The Local Backup > CTERA Agents page appears.

  2. Select the desired CTERA Agent.
  3. Click Enable.

    Local backup resumes.

    The CTERA Agent's status changes to Online.
