US-Based Positions
Enterprise Account Executive - Location Flexible (major metropolitan area)
Position description:
- Target and develop Fortune 500 enterprise accounts in your region
- Work closely with strategic alliance partners
- Relationship management at all levels within the targeted accounts
- Conduct CTERA solution presentations to customers and prospects
- Interface with customers for requests, and visit on a regular basis
- Timely forecasting and reporting of opportunities
- Collaborate with internal CTERA resources/team members to enable successful execution of closed deals and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Work from a home-office, extensive domestic travel required
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in storage or networking enterprise sales
- Deeply familiar with storage and networking technologies
- Ability to understand customer requirements & processes for storage solutions,
- Able to drive deals from prospecting and pipeline development to closing (entire sales cycle)
- Self-starter, able to work independently
- Ability to solve critical issues in a timely manner
- Able to foster long-term relationships, develop champions and drive the client purchasing process
- Familiarity with cloud storage - an advantage

Enterprise Sales Engineer – Chicago Area
The enterprise SE will support pre and post sales for the entire CTERA solution portfolio. Will become a technical subject matter expert on the CTERA solution and will assist in complex customer implementations. The SE will be responsible to provide first-line technical support and engineering consultation with large enterprise customers as well as identify up-sell opportunities, prepare solution proposals, and generate sales quotes.
Position requirements:
- BS Computer Science or related technical degree
- 3-5 years' experience in technical sales support in storage or a related industry to large enterprise customers.
- MCSE Certification and expertise with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Extensive Microsoft Active Directory experience including managing forests, domains, cross Doman Trusts, and AS troubleshooting. MS AD training certification is a plus.
- SAN Experience – Hitachi, EMC, IBM or NetApp – Knows how to create and manage LUNS, iSCSI initiators and targets, troubleshoot storage related problems, experience creating, managing, troubleshooting ZFS storage pools and experience with enterprise ACL, CIFS, NFS, AFP.
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP, including troubleshooting using tools such as wireshark, ethereal etc. Knowledge of DNS, and other common IP protocols such as SMTP etc.
- Working knowledge of firewalls and IP security. Can configure basic firewall rules.
- Cisco CSE Certification or other Networking Certification or equivalent work experience to demonstrate TCP/IP knowledge and skill level.
- Experience with Unix operating systems such as Linux, Solaris, etc.
- 2-4 years VMware experience and/or certification

Embedded Unix Developer
