Inside Sales - New York

Location: New York - NY

CTERA Networks is a fast-growing startup in the space of cloud storage and is seeking an Inside Sales rep to create and contact new sales opportunities for CTERA’s award-winning cloud storage platform. The ideal candidate would be able to obtain new business on cold calls, be articulate and compelling on the phone and email, and manage his/her own time effectively.

At CTERA you will:

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails to meet sales pipeline goals
  • Research target accounts, identify key players, and make them want to learn about CTERA
  • Understand the target customer profiles and determine whether a lead matches a customer profile
  • Set up appointments, provide company and product information
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives and drive leads through the sales pipeline
  • Track all related activities in salesforce.com throughout the pipeline, working closely with the sales executives

Required Skills and Experience:

Senior Manager of Channel Marketing - NY

The Senior Manager of Channel Marketing will design, develop and execute revenue generating joint marketing programs for our global channel ecosystem.

Sales Engineer - Germany

Location: Munich or Frankfurt, Germany

CTERA Networks is a fast-growing startup in the space of cloud storage and is seeking a Sales Engineer (‘SE’) to provide mainly pre-sales and sometimes post- sales support for the entire CTERA solution portfolio. In addition to the pre-sale tasks listed below, the position involves also assisting in complex customer implementations.  In addition to pre-sales activities, the SE will be responsible to provide Tier-2 to 3 technical support and engineering consultation to service providers and large enterprise customers.

At CTERA you will:

  • Interact with partners – train partners and work on joint opportunities
  • Support the local CTERA sales team in sales situations where technical help is needed
  • Provide technical support throughout the sales cycle (qualify the opportunity, sell the solution on its technical merits, write POCs, respond to RFIs/RFPs, support complex implementations for large customers once the deal is closed etc.)
  • Transfer knowledge to both customers and partners (product demos, hands on training)
  • Work closely with service providers on deployments of CTERA solutions – conduct needs assessment and work with them to use our solution as part of their commercial objectives in the market place

Director of Product Marketing

As Director of Product Marketing, you will bear overall responsibility for product positioning and outbound materials to support a global go-to-market effort. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our products in the market.
  • Own competitive analysis and train sales on the differentiators.
  • Drive analyst relations efforts and ensure the product and the company are featured prominently and positively in evaluations and ratings such as the Gartner MQ.
  • Run a successful content machine and own the concept, generation and execution of collateral that supports marketing campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Be a subject matter expert on the technology and a champion of customer use cases.
  • Be an expert in driving content creation for datasheets, whitepapers, videos, solution briefs, infographics and other marketing assets.
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products.

JAVA Team Leader
The CTERA Automation team is responsible for developing backend for tests of advanced on-site storage appliances and off-site cloud multi-platform solutions. The Automation team leader position is a hands-on Java developing role focusing on leading the implementation of automated functionality and performance testing. In this position you will be responsible for managing, planning, designing, and deploying effective test automation suites in multi-platform environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Development of Java Automation to cover product features.
  • Demonstrate Programming leadership for 3 to 5 Java developers.
  • Work closely with Development and QA engineers to define and implement testing and verification strategies and automation scenarios.
  • Setup complicated multi-server cross-platform customer environments (Windows, Linux, and Solaris).

Technical Support Engineer

This is a customer-facing role where you will work to solve product and network problems of low to high complexity. You must be able to effectively utilize complex lab setups to duplicate and solve problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Help customers solve technical issues and properly set up their CTERA products
  • Answer questions from existing and prospective customers about the features and capabilities of CTERA products
  • Analyze customer's problems by using remote access, debug files, network captures and more
