Installation Workflow

Use this workflow to install CTERA Portal on each server.

1. Import the CTERA Portal Virtual Appliance OVF File.
2. Log into the CTERA Portal server and change the password.
3. Configure network settings.
4. Initialize the storage pool.
5. For the first server you install, follow all of the steps in Configuring the CTERA Portal Master Server.
6. For any additional servers beside the master server, configure the server as a secondary server as described in Configuring CTERA Portal Secondary Servers.
