The Access Protocol
The administration interface for each portal and the global administration interface are accessible only via HTTPS.
The end user interface is accessible via HTTP or HTTPS, but you can optionally enable automatic redirection of users from HTTP to HTTPS.
To enable automatic redirection of end users from HTTP to HTTPS
1 Navigate to the Settings > Global Settings page.
2 In the Administration Console area, check Redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
3 Click Save.
4 Restart the CTERA Portal servers in the following order:
a Main database server.
b Replication database server, if available.
c All application or preview servers.
You can do this using the Restart button on the Main > Servers page.
The change takes effect after restart.
