Using Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC)
Note: The following section applies if the gateway includes the iDRAC license.
The Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) provides both a web interface and command line interface that allows you to perform remote management tasks. The first time you log on to iDRAC, CTERA recommends changing the password.
To access iDRAC:
1 Attach a network cable to the iDRAC port:
2 Uses the buttons at the front of the server to get the IP address to access iDRAC from a browser.
3 In a browser enter the IP address.
The iDRAC login screen is displayed.
4 On first login, enter the default username and password from Dell: root/calvin and click Submit.
You are requested to change the default password.
5 Change the default password and click Continue.
The iDRAC console is displayed.
Using iDRAC, you can monitor the sever, including the health of the server fans and server temperature:
